While this game does make use of many of the core Cyberpunk tropes (transhumanism, dystopian megacities, etc…) it does aim to give it a fresh take by setting it in the far future during the final years of humanity (this is a prequel to my flagship Fragged Empire sci-fi) where humanity has handed control over to a number of ideologically driven factions such as the Makers; in the hopes that that giving them full control over governance, the economy will enable them to plot a path out of humanities current path towards extinction.
