CMON Kickstarting Rivet Wars Now
January 11th - via: agamemag.com
Cool Mini Or Not currently has a decidedly cool Kickstarter going right now – Rivet Wars. As of this writing the fundraiser was nearing the $200,000 mark and Ted Terranova’s neat game featuring walking tanks, diesel-powered armor, and armored plated cavalry, to name just a few features, is assured funding. The game’s setting is akin to World War I, but with steam punk flavor. The figures are “cute,” but CMON cautions gamers not to be fooled by iconic playing pieces. There is a darkness about the game. Ted Terranova and Cool Mini Or Not spoke to Bring Your A-Game this week about the game, Kickstarter and more. If you haven’t gotten in on this one yet there are more than three weeks remaining and some very cool stretch goals are opening up. Please enjoy our Q&A and see if Rivet Wars is for you. (Read More)

CoolMiniOrNot Rolls Out Rivet Wars to Kickstarter
January 4th - via: thegaminggang.com
CoolMiniOrNot has just launched their Kickstarter project for Rivet Wars, a game they're indicating is a real time strategy inspired board game featuring what appears to be super deformed/LEGO-style miniatures. The setting is that of a steampunk WWI and designer Ted Terranova promises the action to be fast and furious with high casualty counts. As with most CMON projects there's loads of stretch goals and promos already (you can even score yourself The Veteran who looks suspiciously like Rambo...) so the time is now to go check out Rivet Wars! The project has a funding goal of $25,000 and runs through February 4th. (Read More)
