I actually wasn't quite sure if Stars Reach would make their next stretch goal on the MMORPG's Kickstarter campaign. The last time I wrote about an interview the team did, there were just a few days left in the campaign and incoming funds had slowed to the point that I didn't know if they'd get the last $50K or so they needed. Turns out, they made it and still have about a day to go. Murder By Death Launches Kickstarter for Final Album Egg & Dart

Indie-rock band Murder By Death has announced their Kickstarter campaign for their final album Egg & Dart. Egg & Dart is supposed to be released sometime this summer and is arguably the band’s saddest and most beautiful album thus far into their career, with moments of triumph, desolation, horror and joy. Within this new album, it is said that the band explores themes of letting go and moving on to the next chapter, reflective of their situation as a band, since this is their last album together. The album’s title is symbolic of life and death, with the egg representing life and the dart being a symbol of death. (Read More)

A Most Fearful Sacrifice Wargame Passes 300% Funding on Kickstarter

A fourth printing of my buddy Hermann Luttmann’s well received wargame A Most Fearful Sacrifice is up for crowdfunding for Flying Pig Games. The game tackles the entire three days of the battle of Gettysburg. A Most Fearful Sacrifice is for two to four players, ages 14+, and plays in an hour or more depending on the scenario.
