Kong & Pacific Rim TT Games Offered In One Kickstarter

What would happen if King Kong met the Jaegers from Pacific Rim? Who would win in such a battle? Or would they even fight? Maybe they would see the value in teaming up and combine forces to sell tabletop games with their images on them.

Evil Genius Games is introducing two new tabletop RPGs at once….Kong Skull Island: Isle of the Damned and Pacific Rim: Dominion of Iron. Both games are being offered in the same crowdfunding campaign called The Legendary Bundle, though you can choose to buy just one or the other.

Kong Skull Island features the characters from the WB movie like Mason Weaver (Brie Larsen) and James Conrad (Tom Hiddleston) among original characters as they explore the depths of Skull Island, discover a world underneath its surface, and uncover a prophecy regarding Kong. The game comes with a 160-page rulebook, cardboard pawns for over 50 monsters and/or NPCs and a map tile pack, packaged in a limited edition box.

Pacific Rim casts you as an original character just graduating from the prestigious Jaeger Academy and booting up their mech for their first big fight. You won’t be battling Kong, but you will have to find a way to take down two gigantic kaiju — or else. 160 page adventure book, cardboard pawns for kaiju and Jaegers and a map tile pack come housed in a collector’s metal box.

Back these games today (as in May 9) and receive a free bonus: a 80mm Mini of Gipsy Danger from Pacific Rim. If it’s not May 9, ignore this part.

You can contribute to the Legendary Bundle through this link. Digital versions of Kong: Skull Island or Pacific Rom cost a $25 pledge. Physicals for individual games take a $40 pledge. Picking them both up costs $80 physical, $50 digital. The campaign returns from whence it came June 6.

Legendary films should hire these people as monter designers.
Wow, a tabletop game featuring King Kong and the Jaegers from Pacific Rim? That sounds like an epic battle waiting to happen! I can't wait to see how these two iconic worlds collide in this RPG.It's a great idea to offer both games in one campaign, giving players the option to buy one or both.

I'm excited to see how these games will capture the essence of these worlds. It's always thrilling to experience new adventures with familiar characters. The limited edition box for Kong Skull Island is definitely tempting me to go for the physical version of the game. I can already picture displaying it proudly on my bookshelf!

The 80mm Mini of Gipsy Danger from Pacific Rim as a bonus for backing the games is such a cool incentive. I might just have to pledge today to get my hands on one!

I appreciate the option to buy digital versions of the games, as it makes it more accessible for those who prefer to play on their devices. Plus, it's a great way to try out the games before committing to the physical copies.

The Kickstarter campaign for The Legendary Bundle ends on June 6 but they are now fully funded. I know how this TTRPG works I will try to make my own.
