Your body has been taken… This is the only thing you know for sure. Your memory has faded away, when you drifted away to this strange world of dark dreams. You are an empty vessel now. Looking around, you find masks lying around… Which one will you choose…? What story will you follow…?

Following their £5 million Kickstarter success with Tainted Grail: Fall of Avalon, Awaken Realms have returned with their new co-operative dream crawler game Etherfields.

Etherfields is a surreal and artistically crafted world in which players will craft their character from scratch through advance deck-building methods, traveling through a dream-world and using the map to venture further into dream-locations.

Etherfields will test players, logic, intuition, deduction, and emotional skills in an incredibly evoking world of dreams. Awaken Realms have said that this dream world will be "accompanied by one of the most unique miniatures and art we have ever made."

In this unique world of dreams and mysteries, the normal rules which govern life are suspended, and players may find themselves coping with strange twists of realities and nightmarish pursuits through multiple dream-worlds.

As such, fighting is not always the best option, and so players also have choices to cheat or change the perception of opponents to alter their reality.

Etherfields is a game which will test even the most seasoned gamers. With secret rules that can only be discovered by the most perceptive players, drafting cards based on art or name only, and deducing the intentions of encounters based on little information, Etherfields is a dream crawler designed for those who like solving elaborate puzzles.

Although still in development, Etherfields appears to be a game which promises the same intricate blend of mechanic, art, and narrative which has been demonstrated in their previous games.
