Massive Chalice Is an Xbox One Console Exclusive

Releasing 'Early next year.'

In an update on the game's Kickstarter page, Double Fine's Brad Muir announced that in addition to PC and Mac, Massive Chalice will also be coming as a console exclusive to Xbox One. He also reiterated that the game will be coming to PC and Mac first and foremost.

"Nothing has changed with our plans to bring MASSIVE CHALICE to the PC and to make it available for our backers first," Muir wrote.

The game was revealed last July, and it quickly hit its Kickstarter goal, becoming their second game to be funded through the service.

Muir cites games like XCOM, Final Fantasy Tactics and Fire Emblem as inspirations for the title, which is expected to release later this year.

Double Fine hasn't shown much of Massive Chalice yet, but its latest game, Broken Age Act 1, is a gorgeous game IGN loved, so check out our video review below.
