Hello! My name is Jacqueline, and I’m the creator of Chibird, a collection of positive webcomics and animations. You might have seen some of my GIFs, including the motivational penguin, which has been sent hundreds of millions of times!
The motivational penguin started out as a GIF to motivate me throughout school, but now the motivational penguins are loose and looking for new homes to bring their encouragement to!
I’ve been dreaming about making a plush ever since I started Chibird in 2010, and now that I’ve begun working on Chibird full-time, I knew I wanted to work on this project first. I’m so excited to finally bring you all this motivational penguin plush!
The plush is 12” big, made with soft minky fabric and squishy mochi fiber filling! It comes with a set of motivational penguin cards that you can store in a pocket in the back! It’s the perfect combination of a soft hug and words of encouragement!
Life is tough, and we could all use some extra motivation and softness to cheer us up.
You can choose to store the motivational cards in the penguin’s pocket or outside.
I did a hug-test of the motivational penguin with the cards in the pocket, and all you feel is squish!
The pocket is 5" big, with a velcro closure. You can also put other neat stuff in the pocket!
If enough penguins are adopted, I can also design and release more card packs with different themes.
November - funds released and production begins!
December to April - plush production finishes and the plush are shipped to me
Spring to Summer 2023 - fulfillment begins!
