The Hidden Gems of PAX Prime 2014

September 3rd - via: egmnow.com
After the flurry of E3, San Diego Comic-Con, and Gamescom, one of the great parts of PAX Prime is that it gives us a chance to see something we don’t get to experience much of at those other events: the smaller indie titles. There were so many great games from lesser-known or smaller-budget teams and individuals at the show that we didn’t have time to see them all, but here’s a handful of some that stood out the most to us. (Read More)

A Moving Pictures Look at the Card Based Roguelike Hand of Fate

June 17th - via: cliqist.com
Hand of Fate is a game we’ve discussed a few times in the past, most recently in our hands-on preview of it back in April. However, as this unique card based roguelike approaches its Steam Early Access release we thought it appropriate to take another look at it and show you what you can look forward to. Since he’s so high-tech these days, Nathaniel decided to put together a Hand of Fate gameplay video showing the game off a bit, and sharing just how much he’s enjoyed the pre-release version so far. (Read More)

Hand of Fate – Previewed

April 27th - via: cliqist.com
I love tabletop games, so when I first began to fire up Hand of Fate, I was expecting something I’d more or less experienced before. Well, today we get to add that to the long, long list of things I’ve been wrong about. I mean it, this game is going to be really good when it comes out. What makes it so good? (Read More)

November 13th - via: cliqist.com
Kickstarter officially launched in Australia and New Zealand yesterday with over 1700 projects up and running in the first 24 hours. Luckily for us only a dozen of them were in the video game category. Rather than picking through them we thought it might be nice to wrangle all of them into one story and give you a bit of information about each one. As you’ll see the projects launched over the past 24 hours run the full gambit of game types, campaign professionalism, and funding goals. (Read More)

Hand Of Fate Is A Unique Australian Card Game On The Australian Kickstarter

November 12th - via: kotaku.com.au

That’s partly why Kickstarter launching in Australia was so exciting. We have a large number of talented developers in Australia and Kickstarter is another way to help them realise their creative ambitions. (Read More)

Defiant Development's Hand of Fate is a bit of everything. In the words of studio director Morgan Jaffit, it's a tabletop card game that comes to life. And while there's often a risk in trying to do too much with one game, Jaffit believes that Defiant has struck a balance that PC audiences will like. (Read More)
