In today’s edition of “nothing can possibly go wrong,” a company in Sweden is developing a new doorbell camera that is armed to automatically shoot paintballs at intruders approaching your home!

The device is called the “PaintCam Eve,” which is currently being developed through Kickstarter.

According to New Atlas, the camera uses facial recognition technology to determine if individuals are strangers or not.  When an unrecognized person approaches, the camera emits a warning that the intruder must vacate the area before the time limit is reached.

If they are still on the property when time expires, the paintballs fly.

It just doesn’t shoot paintballs, either!  Apparently, the camera can also be armed with cartridges that emit tear gas, as well!

Good luck to all owners of the PaintCam Eve when that eventual lawsuit hits!
