Blink Tech has announced the highly anticipated release of its XBotGo Chameleon, a new AI-powered sports tracking phone mount.

XbotGo Chameleon officially launched via Kickstarter on 19 March and within less than 24 hours, the campaign soared past US$110,000 in funding.

According to Blink Tech, the XbotGo Chameleon represents the pinnacle of innovation, leveraging state-of-the-art computer vision algorithms to transform consumer-grade devices into comprehensive AI sports tracking camera systems.

With AI technology at its core, it enhances both hardware and software capabilities to deliver auto-tracking, auto-recording, live broadcasting and auto-editing of sports games.

Hardware upgrades

Equipped with a dual-camera setup and a 120-degree ultra-wide-angle lens, the XbotGo Chameleon enables automated tracking for more than 20 sports, ensuring the capture of professional-quality sports footage.

Its 360-degree rotation feature adds versatility, expanding the possibilities for activities such as skating and dancing.

Additionally, boasting a 7800 mAh battery, the product’s AI camera system offers one of the longest-lasting battery lives in its category, providing over 8 hours of uninterrupted operation.

Software upgrades

The XbotGo Chameleon is powered by XbotVision 2.0 algorithm – claimed to deliver unparalleled precision in analysing and tracking the trajectory of the ball and players' movements.

With FollowMe 2.0 technology, the system intelligently identifies and locks onto athletes based on their appearance, body shape, jersey number and more, ensuring seamless tracking even amid distractions.

It also allows for zooming in to maintain sharp and professional footage.

Effortlessly create highlights and live stream through the XbotGo app, driven by XbotVision 2.0 AI technology. With free cloud storage included, the XbotGo Chameleon captures and immortalises every athletic moment, reshaping the very essence of passion in sports.

Availability

The XbotGo Chameleon is now available on Kickstarter.

The new launch follows the success of the XbotGo AI sports gimbal – which has gained widespread adoption in over 90 countries, cultivated a community of 35,000 members and recorded over 10 million minutes of sports games.
