Loftia, a solar-punk survival-box funded with more than 1,2M US$ on Kickstarter

Loftia closed out its Kickstarter last night with a whopping $1.27M US pledge from over 16,000. In his thank-you letter to the supporters, studio Qloud said its hard work fulfilled backer rewards and, yknow, the game. The Aussie indie studio will have its ambition for alpha next year. We were covering Loftia before our debut.

Having successfully funded a Kickstarter on the night the company closed its Kickstarter with an estimated $2.27 million pledged by over 16,000 backers. In his thank-you letter to supporters, studio Qloud said that its hard to work is fulfilling backer rewards and, yknow, the game. The indie studio of Australia is planning to achieve alpha next year.

We have been covering Loftia since its debut earlier this summer; its sandbox is a cooperative social sandbox in the mediumly multiplayer corner of the genre with the focus on virulent gameplay, farming, and even dungeons, though of the puzzle and platform variety.

In addition to this campaign, a backer blasted from every stretch goal which the campaign offered up: players-run markets, new biomes, guild halls, part-time jobs, an adventure-building tool that lets players build their own content.

We did it.

Loftia is officially 850% funded and we have unlocked all of our stretch goals. Thank you for believing us, and the dream that is Loftia is the perfect dream.

The route to Alpha is now in order. We can’t wait to get you along for the journey ahead! pic.twitter.com/3ZjgwzJaizSYisp
