Acuce A10 Pro 14-in-1 portable hub with M.2 SSD enclosure now crowdfunding on Kickstarter
The Acuce A10 Pro portable hub is now crowdfunding on Kickstarter. The docking station has many functions and is billed as a 14-in-1 device. The gadget supports dual displays with resolutions of 8K @ 60 Hz or 4K @ 120 Hz. The dock also supports M.2 NVMe/SATA SSD with up to 8 TB capacity with read and write speeds of up to 1,048 Mbps.
You can connect to the gadget via a USB 3.2 Gen2 high-speed interface with a data transfer speed of up to 10 Gbps. A PD fast-charging USB-C port can power devices at up to 100 W and is compatible with products such as the MacBook. Other ports include two USB 2.0 and an SD card slot. Plus, you can wirelessly charge devices at up to 15 W using a magnetic charging pad on top of the hub. The device can operate at temperatures between -15 to 55 °C (~5 to 131 °F), and an integrated temperature-controlled cooling fan ensures the device does not overheat.
The compact gadget is easy to transport, measuring 2.5 x 5.8 x 0.8-in (~65 x 149 x 21 mm) and weighing 8.5 oz (~241 g). You can currently receive the Acuce A10 Pro portable hub when you pledge US$59 to the Kickstarter campaign. The gadget comes with a USB-C to USB-C cable and is expected to retail for US$96 in the future. The company will ship the device worldwide, and deliveries will begin in February.
