Which is more than double the initial target, and now means that the final release will include a number of awesome new additions like cinematic cut-scenes, multiplayer, and a co-op campaign. So then, what's Iron Harvest? Well, as per our recent article, a brilliant looking new RTS that is, well, Company of Heroes with Mechs.

An awesome combination that outside of being a cool description is taken to the next level once you check out to the impressive alpha gameplay footage that was released alongside the Kickstarter campaign.



"Iron Harvest is our fourth Kickstarted title. We successfully completed the previous three projects, earing the trust of the community", said Jan Theysen, Iron Harvest's Game Director. "However, receiving more pledges for Iron Harvest than with our previous three games combined and having the most successful video game Kickstarter campaign in a long time was beyond our wildest expectations."

It's not hard to see why audiences are excited to back Iron Harvest, as it's the sort of game our PC needs, right-now. There are a few days left on the crowdfunding campaign, here's hoping all the stretch goals are met - including the very cool free campaign DLC one.
