The Smash Box kickstarter is now more than $13K over their goal; alpha test pledge goal offered with a few hours left

It seems as though the Smash Box kickstarter has reached their goal with a very healthy surplus. As of this moment, they are more than $13K over their goal with still a few hours left for additional backing.

With the kickstarter now having met its goal, we are for sure going to see the Smash Box show up at tournaments for Super Smash Bros. Melee and maybe Super Smash Bros. 4.

Recently, an additional pledge goal was added for backers that provided $400 or more to the kickstarter. These players will receive an "alpha" version of the Smash Box in May.

This alpha Smash Box comes earlier and is in addition to the final version that is scheduled to be shipped in August. In other words, backers that provide $400 or more will receive two of these devices.
