If James Bond were real, he'd probably use these headphones.

Currently a Kickstarter project, Dash earphones will connect to any mobile device via Bluetooth and play music. But they also boast a multitude of other features, including built-in 4 GB storage that can hold up to 1,000 songs.

Designed and created by a company called Bragi, Dash also doubles as a Bluetooth headset. There's an embedded microphone that picks up the vibrations generated by a user’s voice via the ear bone.

Dash can also manage a user’s fitness and health with multiple sensors, a thermometer and an accelerometer embedded in the earphones. The device will track pace, steps, cadence and distance traveled during an exercise. The developers claim on their Kickstarter page that Dash can also measure heart rate and oxygen saturation.

The headphones are controlled with a series of touch commands. The left earphone manages the fitness options of the device: tapping or swiping the earbud will allow a user to select a workout, start or stop a workout and check current health levels. The right earphone controls sound options; similar gestures will change playlists, play and pause music and take a call.

Bragi has raised about $750,000 on Kickstarter at time of writing. Backers need to donate $199 to the campaign to get their hands on one. For now, there is no set price, but Bragi notes that the suggested retail price for Dash is around $299.
