Migo Ascender Stair-Climbing Robot Launch Kickstarter
First unveiled last summer, the Migo Ascender stair-climbing robot vacuum has officially launched on Kickstarter. That’s right, it can climb stairs of varying heights (up to 8.7 inches) reliably, all the while effortlessly navigating over obstacles and floors to clean your entire house hands-free.

Its square-shaped body with motorized omnidirectional wheels allow for lateral movement, thus ensuring optimal cleaning of every edge. Plus, the bottom brush can pivot 90° during lateral movement for more effective cleaning, especially when picking up larger particles like coffee beans or pet food. Hardware wise, Ascender boasts an HD camera, a LiDAR system, and 6 ToF sensors. How much does it cost? Around $1,499 USD if you don’t pre-order one through Kickstarter. Check it out here.
