Signaling all fans of the dark arts and morally mischievous heroes: A new Kickstarter campaign is bringing DC characters with predilections for sorcery, the occult, and magic to tabletops near you with the DC Deck-Building Game: Justice League Dark

Cryptozoic Entertainment, Warner Bros., and DC just launched the Kickstarter campaign for the stacking card game with a distinctively supernatural take on DC teamwork. To face the mystical challenges that arise in this game, players will be able to become characters like John Constantine, Wonder Woman, Zatanna, and Doctor Fate.

Backers of the new campaign can choose from two different covers of the game: the standard cover by Ryan Benjamin and a Kickstarter Exclusive cover by Raymond Gay.

Depending on how much they pledge, fans can also preorder two expansions for the previously released DC Deck-Building Game: Rebirth, a game expansion based on the Legion of Doom, or playmats and card sleeves. Interested parties can also pledge to get DC Deck-Building Game: Rivals — Shazam! vs. Black Adam, a two-player game featuring the supersized rivals.

The Kickstarter arrives after last year’s campaign, which raised more than $1 million in fan funds for DC Deck-Building Game 10th Anniversary, which celebrated a decade of heroics in the DC Deck-Building series.

Pledge tiers for the new campaign, which begins today and runs until July 27, start at $75. Find more information about the campaign and all it entails on the Kickstarter page. Whether you’re adding to your collection or starting from scratch, it’s time to get stackin’!
