Nanoleq is currently crowdfunding for the Oxa breathing wearable, which it claims is a world first. The gadget can provide real-time data for health metrics such as your breathing depth and speed. You can use the accompanying app to practice breathing techniques which could improve your health and well-being over time.

The Oxa breathing wearable is crowdfunding on Kickstarter. Nanoleq, the company behind the gadget, claims that it is the first wearable dedicated to breathing, allowing you to understand the effects of your respiration on your body and mind. Oxa can provide real-time biometric insights across a wide range of statistics, such as the speed and depth of your breathing, as well as your heart rate and HRV. Plus, you can wear the gadget at night to understand your sleep quality.

The Oxa Sensor is clipped into a specially made shirt or bra, enabling the wearable to take measurements. The company has used gamification to teach users how to optimize their breathing. You can use the accompanying app to access guided exercises tailored to your needs, with the option to add visual prompts or soundscapes for deeper relaxation. Over time, Nanoleq suggests you will reduce your stress levels and improve your ability to focus.

You can currently receive the Oxa breathing wearable when you pledge €239 to the Kickstarter campaign. This lowest pledge level includes the Oxa Shirt, Oxa Sensor and access to the Oxa Life app. The company ships to many countries, such as the US, Australia and the UK, with deliveries expected around March.
