Fans exceeded developers’ expectations

As with many Kickstarter projects, certain objectives were set with various improvements and bonuses that would make The Retro Room and Steven Long’s final gaming experience that much more enjoyable. With more than 501 percent funding and 360 supporters, the fans have unlocked three more endings, more passwords, a death counter, a bonus pin, and, eventually, a color conversion for GBC in which the studio will colorize and optimize the whole game for the Game Boy Color. All of this was accomplished within 10 days of the Kickstarter campaign’s completion, and the game’s official Twitter account expressed gratitude to everyone who supported the game during the process.
