Publisher Kalypso Media and developer 2tainment have announced Club Manager 2022, a brand-new football management simulator for Windows PC being partly funded via Kickstarter.
Starting today, fans can take up position as the 12th man or woman and take an active role in the game’s development, supporting at various tiers and contributing to stretch goals. Backers can expect a variety of rewards for individual tiers, one being immediate access to the game’s Campaign mode beta, currently planned for release in 2021.
Club Manager 2022 will combine classic ‘impulse’ gameplay with modern football analysis, offering players a heat map and many other performance tracking tools. Alongside a manager talent tree and player editor, the game will also include multiplayer in the form of a ‘hotseat’ mode, where up to three friends can play together online.
