Every cyclist shares the same fear: no matter how tightly you chain down your bike, someone could still try to steal it and run off with it. Finally, Bisecu on Kickstarter claims to have a solution.

Bisecu is a bicycle smart lock that pairs with your phone via its bluetooth-enabled app. The lock attaches to your wheel and syncs up to your phone. When you travel a certain distance away from your bike, it automatically locks the wheel in place, preventing it from moving. Once you move close to your ride again, Bisecu unlocks itself.

In extra good news for paranoid cyclists, the lock can't be cut from the outside, so bike thieves who think they're clever won't be able to slice anything open. If someone happens to tamper with your bike, the app will immediately notify you on your phone so you can stop thieves in the act. The lock itself will even sound an alarm.

For fitness fans, the smart lock can also measure your speed, distance, travel time, and even calories burned so you can keep track of your exercise. You can see your results inside the app.
